On May 13, as part of a visit to the Ivano-Frankivsk office of Kherson State University, the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk and the rector of KSU Oleksandr Spivakovskyi signed a Memorandum – a framework document that lays the foundation for further steps.

During the meeting, Svitlana Onyshchuk thanked the university staff for their resilience, steadfastness, and continued work under the conditions of the full-scale war.

«I want to thank the entire KSU staff. You are incredible. I first arrived in Kherson after the occupation, when I came on a humanitarian mission with the Ivano-Frankivsk MBA team. Then I saw the Kherson region – strong and resilient. Thank you for this resilience, for staying in Ukraine, continuing to work and, most importantly, believing in the Ukrainian state», – she noted.

The head of the RSA wished the university community further development and the implementation of all planned initiatives.

«You have very cool achievements. I want to wish such a team prosperity. You have done an extraordinary amount, but most importantly – you preserved the university. Together with Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, you were able to maintain KSU by moving to the glorious Prykarpattia. I am convinced that the time will come when you return to your native Kherson region, which you love above all else. And you will come to Prykarpattia as if to a second home», – emphasized Svitlana Onyshchuk.

Separately, she addressed the student youth, emphasizing their role in the future reconstruction of the country.

«I am convinced that it is such talented youth who are the future of our state. It is up to you to rebuild and restore the country, to create unique products. And I know that you will handle everything. I wish peace and tranquility to our native land and to all of us – to move forward together», – summarized the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk RSA.

Oleksandr Spivakovskyi expressed gratitude to Svitlana Onyshchuk for her attention, readiness for cooperation, and the warm words and sincerity reflected in the entry in the KSU Book of Honorary Guests.

"We dream of returning to our native Kherson, but we strive to be useful where we are now! Ukraine – is united not in words or on billboards, but in real deeds and cases of cooperation", – summarized Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
