At the end of May, at Kherson State University, the All-Ukrainian Youth Scientific Forum «Science that shapes the future: ideas, research, impact» took place.

The event was organized by the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of Kherson State University in collaboration with the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The forum was moderated by the head of NTSADMU KSU, Tamara Mandych.

The first part of the forum was dedicated to the experience of organizing youth scientific work and the activities of scientific communities.

The head of the Council of Young Scientists under the MES, Anastasiia Simakhova, and the head of the department for working with gifted youth, Yuliia Yurina, addressed the participants with welcoming remarks.

The head and representatives of the Scientific Society of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Anastasiia Kotolevets, Mariia Boiko, and Olha Musiiachenko, spoke about developing the potential of young scientists and the projects of the Scientific Society.

The head of the Council of Young Scientists under the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Bohdan Liashenko, dedicated his speech to the work of young scientists in the Kharkiv region amidst the war, while the head of the Council of Young Scientists under the Odesa Regional State Administration, Natalia Maslii, shared her team's experience and the main areas of activity for young scientists in the Odesa region. Associate Professor of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Serhii Pekarskyi spoke about the scientific achievements of future criminal police officers, and the head of the Council of Postgraduate Students of NTU «Dnipro Polytechnic» Yelyzaveta Bodriago – about forming a strong postgraduate community and implemented initiatives.

The second part of the forum – the postgraduate lecture series, which has become a tradition for the KSU Scientific Society.

During the event, Svyatoslav Vil presented research on the transformation of Crimean identities between 1954 and 1991, Yuliia Bashlakova spoke about symbolization as a mechanism for processing war traumas, and Oleksandr Bohuslavskyi dedicated his speech to the concept of human dignity as a legal category. Participants also heard research by Mykola Ozerov and Artem Zhiliaiev on the evolution of professional social work, while Viktor Rud presented a report on the formal verification of Ethereum smart contracts.

The forum became not only a platform for presentations but also a space for fruitful professional dialogue, the search for new ideas, and the formation of a shared vision for the future of Ukrainian science.
