A project involving KSU for the development of dual education won the Erasmus+ competition.

The "National Ecosystem of Dual Higher Education in Ukraine" project (DUAL-UA), developed by a powerful international consortium of universities, including Kherson State University, has successfully passed selection and received support within the Erasmus+ program (Capacity Building in Higher Education).

Within the framework of the project, Kherson State University will cooperate with leading educational institutions and organizations:

• ·         Kyiv Aviation Institute State University (project coordinator),
• ·         National Transport University,
• ·         Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas,
• ·         Dnipro Polytechnic University,
• ·         Poltava State Agrarian University,
• ·         ·         All-Ukrainian Public Organization «Ukrainian Marketing Association»,
• ·         Scientific and Methodological Center for Higher and Professional Pre-higher Education,

As well as with foreign partners –

• ·         University of Bremen (Germany),
• ·         Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences (Germany),
• ·         University of Latvia.

The goal of the project is to increase the quality, relevance, and sustainability of dual higher education in Ukraine through a systemic approach: developing micro-credentials for teachers, administrative staff, and mentors from enterprises; creating a national network of regional training centers for dual education; developing a Dual Education Stakeholder Platform; as well as developing quality assurance criteria for dual educational programs.

Within the framework of the project, Kherson State University is testing a dual education model in the field of rehabilitation. This specialty is critically important for the Kherson region and the entire country in the context of post-war recovery. This is the university's first experience in dual education, and we expect to transform it into our own regional center for dual education.

The implementation of the DUAL-UA project is planned for three years. The project is being implemented as part of the Erasmus+ 2026 call (Call: ERASMUS-EDU-2026-CBHE).
