KSU and the Office of European Integration of Kherson Region signed a memorandum of cooperation
The delegation included: director Oleh Kulakevych, Inna Butriy - deputy director of the institution, Denys Deli-Slavov - specialist for interaction with foreign embassies and missions. Pavlo Ostapenko - head of the Society of Researchers of Ukraine, also joined.
At the initiative of the Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific-Pedagogical Affairs, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor Daria Malchykova, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document consolidates cooperation and opens new opportunities for joint work in the fields of education, science, innovation, human capital development, strategic planning, post-war reconstruction of the Kherson region, and the implementation of national and international projects.
After the official part, a tour of the KSU Ivano-Frankivsk office was organized for the Agency representatives. The guests learned how the relocated university operates today, and were informed about the organization of the educational process, digital services, international activities, scientific projects, and strategic development areas of the institution.
"To be honest, our cooperation did not start today. We are already working together as part of a working group to update the Development Strategy of the Kherson region, participating in shaping the vision for the future of the region, and joining important expert discussions and projects related to the needs of the region.
For Kherson State University, this is an absolutely natural mission. We have always been and remain a university that works for the Kherson region, regardless of where our office is located today.<0xA0>p>
And, of course, there was no shortage of true Kherson emotions.
Our guests brought a gift that immediately took everyone's thoughts back home - watermelons from the Kherson region itself. It might seem like an ordinary souvenir. But today it is much more than that. It is the taste of our native land. It is memory. It is faith. It is a symbol that the Kherson region lives, works, and will certainly be reborn.
I sincerely thank the Director of the Agency Oleh Kulakevych and the entire team for their trust, partnership, and shared vision of the future.
I am convinced that combining the intellectual potential of the university, the expert community, authorities, and development institutions will become one of the key prerequisites for the successful reconstruction of our region.
