An all-Ukrainian conference of young scientists and students on issues of culture and art was held at KSU.

On May 15, the 13th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students was held at Kherson State University.

The organizer was the Department of Culture and Arts of Kherson State University.

The scientific event brought together researchers, educators, students, and artists around current issues of culture, art, education, and national identity.

The First Vice-Rector of KSU, Serhii Omelchuk, addressed the participants with a welcoming word. He emphasized the importance of scientific dialogue and supporting young researchers, especially in the conditions of war, when culture and education remain important components of preserving Ukraine's national identity and humanitarian space.

Conference participants presented thorough reports dedicated to:

  • the cultural heritage of Ukraine in the conditions of war;
  • transformations of the contemporary art space;
  • the phenomenon of frontline culture;
  • the role of art in shaping national consciousness;
  • new trends in theatrical, culturological, and pedagogical discourse.

Representatives of Kherson State University, the Ivan Ziazun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Mariupol State University, Izmail State Humanitarian University, Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, and other higher education institutions of Ukraine joined the scientific discussion.

"We sincerely thank all participants for their activity, meaningful reports, scientific dialogue, and the shared desire to develop Ukrainian culture and art education even in the most difficult times," noted the head of the department, Nataliia Tereshenko.
