On August 1, the acceptance of applications for studies for the bachelor's degree and for the master's program in the specialty «Medicine» ended.
Despite the fourth year of the full-scale war, the university's relocation, daily challenges, and constant threats to the Kherson region, Kherson State University received 1,422 applications, which is 207 more than last year. Another important indicator – 424 applications with the first priority.
"For us, this means much more than statistics. It is a conscious choice of young people who entrust their future to our university. It is especially valuable that all faculties completed the admission campaign with positive dynamics. This is the result of the daily, responsible, and professional work of deans, teachers, staff, the admissions committee, students, our alumni, and partners, who together shape the reputation of Kherson State University. We have long understood one simple truth: a university – is not buildings. A university – is people. It is people who preserved Kherson State University after the occupation, relocation, and loss of physical infrastructure. It is people who have ensured that today hundreds of young Ukrainians are choosing KSU once again", – noted KSU Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyi.
